A systematic study on the growth of Cr2O3 in three‐dimensional cubic ordered mesoporous silica (KIT‐6) and its replication through nanocasting is reported. By changing the loading time and amount of precursor, the size and shape of the obtained replica could be controlled to some extent. More interestingly, in contrast to previously published studies, when KIT‐6 with an aging temperature of 100 °C, which has a high degree of interconnectivity, was used as a hard template, a cubic ordered mesoporous Cr2O3 replica with an open uncoupled subframework structure and reduced symmetry was obtained. Formation of a replica with different symmetry and uncoupled subframework structure is not only related to the degree of interconnectivity of the parent, but also strongly depends on the type of metal oxide and its growth mechanism in the silica template. Nanocasting of Cr2O3 with a low loading results in a replica with monomodal pore size distribution that has same symmetry as the hard template, whereas increasing the loading amount alters the symmetry of the replica and yields a replica with bimodal distribution.  相似文献

The insertion of the single‐molecule magnet (SMM) [MnIII(salen)(H2O)]22+ (salen2?=N,N′‐ethylenebis‐(salicylideneiminate)) into a ferromagnetic bimetallic oxalate network affords the hybrid compound [MnIII(salen)(H2O)]2[MnIICrIII(ox)3]2 ? (CH3OH) ? (CH3CN)2 ( 1 ). This cationic Mn2 cluster templates the growth of crystals formed by an unusual achiral 3D oxalate network. The magnetic properties of this hybrid magnet are compared with those of the analogous compounds [MnIII(salen)(H2O)]2[ZnIICrIII(ox)3]2 ? (CH3OH) ? (CH3CN)2 ( 2 ) and [InIII(sal2‐trien)][MnIICrIII(ox)3] ? (H2O)0.25 ? (CH3OH)0.25 ? (CH3CN)0.25 ( 3 ), which are used as reference compounds. In 2 it has been shown that the magnetic isolation of the Mn2 clusters provided by their insertion into a paramagnetic oxalate network of CrIII affords a SMM behavior, albeit with blocking temperatures well below 500 mK even for frequencies as high as 160 kHz. In 3 the onset of ferromagnetism in the bimetallic MnIICrIII network is observed at Tc=5 K. Finally, in the hybrid compound 1 the interaction between the two magnetic networks leads to the antiparallel arrangement of their respective magnetizations, that is, to a ferrimagnetic phase. This coupling induces also important changes on the magnetic properties of 1 with respect to those of the reference compounds 2 and 3 . In particular, compound 1 shows a large magnetization hysteresis below 1 K, which is in sharp contrast with the near‐reversible magnetizations that the SMMs and the oxalate ferromagnetic lattice show under the same conditions.  相似文献

Determination of chromium in groundwater samples containing iron may pose analytical problems due to sorption and fixation of chromium species onto Fe(III) hydroxides. Parks et al. (Water Res. 2004, 38, 2827) hypothesized that chromium species trapped inside Fe(III) hydroxides i.e. “fixed chromium” may not be soluble by HNO3 digestion (APHA method 3030 B). In such cases, hydroxylamine digestion is required to release “fixed chromium”. To verify the hypothesis, we carried out this study on groundwater samples containing chromium and iron, using different methods of APHA and EPA. The results showed the presence of “fixed chromium”, ranged between 0.1 and 19.2 μg L− 1, contributing 0.2 to 14.1% towards true total chromium. Digestion of samples with HNO3 released Cr(III) bound to organic complexes, but not the “fixed chromium”. The hydroxylamine digestion released “fixed chromium”, but not the Cr(III) bound to organic complexes. Microwave digestion of samples with HNO3 + HCl was effective for the release of both “fixed” and “Cr(III)-organic complexes”. Cr(III) was only adsorbed onto suspended matter, whereas Cr(VI), and Cr(III)-organic complexes were not adsorbed onto suspended matter due to their solubility. Sample pH, buffering capacity, and matrix have a significant influence on the adsorption and fixation of chromium species onto Fe(III) hydroxides.  相似文献

The development of novel methods to obtain biofuels and chemicals from biomass has been an immediate issue in both academic and industrial communities. In this work, a series of novel catalysts were prepared and characterized by FT‐IR , TGA , XRD , SEM , TEM , ICP‐AES , NH3‐TPD and BET , which were applied for the conversion of hexose to 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF ). The Cr(Salten)‐MCM ‐41‐[(CH2 )3SO3HVIm ]HSO4 catalyst was the most active catalyst, and a glucose conversion of 99.8% with 50.2% HMF yield was obtained at 140 °C for 4 h in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO ). The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, solvents and catalyst dosages were investigated in detail. MCM ‐41 immobilized acidic functional ionic liquid and chromium(III ) Schiff base complexes as heterogeneous catalysts can be easily recovered by simple filter treatment, exhibiting excellent stability and activity towards hexose conversion. Thus the heterogeneous catalysts were environment‐friendly for transforming biomass carbohydrates into fine chemicals.  相似文献

A non-contact measuring method on electrostatic potential by using α-ray ionization is proposed. In this method potential of a charged material is estimated from ionic current flowing through an ion collector attached with a small 241Am source. As hade electrode surrounding the collector has a function of adjusting sensitivity and potential up to 50 kV was measured with precision of 1 kV.  相似文献

A multipurpose six‐axis κ‐diffractometer, together with the brilliance of the ESRF light source and a CCD area detector, has been explored for studying epitaxial relations and crystallinity in thin film systems. The geometrical flexibility of the six‐axis goniometer allows measurement of a large volume in reciprocal space, providing an in‐depth understanding of sample crystal relationships. By a set of examples of LaAlO3 thin films deposited by the atomic layer deposition technique, the possibilities of the set‐up are presented. A fast panoramic scan provides determination of the crystal orientation matrices, prior to more thorough inspection of single Bragg nodes. Such information, in addition to a broadening analysis of families of single reflections, is shown to correlate well with the crystallinity, crystallite size, strain and epitaxial relationships in the thin films. The proposed set‐up offers fast and easy sample mounting and alignment, along with crucial information on key features of the thin film structures.  相似文献

Hexavalent chromium Cr(VI) is a well-established carcinogen associated with lung, nasal, and sinus cancer. Cr(VI) threshold limit values in workroom air have been recently lowered. Consequently, the currently available analytical methods are insufficiently sensitive or high cost. In this paper, a simple, cost-effective, sensitive, and reproducible method using solid-phase extraction with electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry for determination of hexavalent chromium in airborne samples is reported. The method validation included selectivity, linearity, accuracy, and precision. Interferences from other ions likely to be present in airborne samples, including trivalent chromium, were tested and selectivity was demonstrated. The detection and quantification limits were, respectively, as low as 0.1 and 0.4?µg?L?1. The linearity ranged from 0.5 to 50.0?µg?L?1, with a regression coefficients exceeding 0.998. The extraction recovery exceeded 98%. The developed method was successfully compared with a reference spectrophotometric method. The performances achieved were similar to ion chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography approaches. The novel method was tested on airborne samples collected from the workplace. The method’s performance suggests that it may be an alternative to high-cost techniques for monitoring occupational exposure to hexavalent chromium.  相似文献
